Mette-Marit and Daughter Take Part in World Environment Day

Norway’s little Ingrid Alexandra was on hand to help her mother, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, mark World Environment Day at the royal palace in Oslo.

The five year-old princess greeted crowds and helped collect technological gadgets for recycling.

“You are good to make sure that such things are delivered to recycling, “said Crown Princess Mette-Marit to the people who also came to drop off their cell phones and chargers.

Several of Norway’s ministers also came by to take part in the recycling parade.

The Norwegian press made note of how much the future Queen resembles her father, Crown Prince Haakon.

Both of Ingrid Alexandra’s parents have been actively engaged in environmental cases for the past week. The two discussed safety and health with the Bill and Melinda Gates as they were in the country earlier.

And they also participated in environmental conference organized by the Bellona in Sarpsborg this week, where such well-known environmental activists Robert Kennedy Jr. were present.
