Monaco’s sovereign Prince attended the third annual World Climate Conference in Geneva today. The meeting brings together world leaders and scientists to discuss how the planet could deal with climate change.
Prior to the event, Prince Albert gave his take in a press release.
“We have before us a historic opportunity to address the issue of climate change to build a better future for generations to come. By using the best climate information available, we can assess climate-related risks and opportunities and provide the private sector, decision-making bodies and communities with the tools they need to plan for the future. We will also be able to protect the Earth, our planet—its oceans and forests and all its natural resources—against climate change risks. The World Climate Conference-3 will launch internationally coordinated measures to protect humans and their environment.”
