For each kilometer a participant completes, 1.10 euros will be donated to charity. No Finish Line is hoping to break last year’s record, which made 115,000 euros.
The money raised from this event will go to three projects: a Monagesque collective humanitarian fund that helps children with deformed hearts, a co-op which is financing a theater in Mauritania, and finally Fight AIDS Monaco, which Princess Stephanie is the president of.
There are 43 participants this year. Some of them are health care workers from the Princess Grace Hospital. They will run until November 22nd.
“They run two hours, sleep two hours, then run again,” said Ilse Bertels, head of communications center cardio-thoracic and No Finish Line.
